Tokyo day II

Marijuana is soooooo illegal in japan. In the 70's Paul McCartney got mega busted trying to bring some joints with him when he was on tour with Wings. They banned him for a shit load of years.
However putting dogs in bowls and selling them on the streets is ok. Go figure!
We woke up early the next day because we had to print out all these forms for our Brazilian work permits. We also had to take new passport photos for the work permits.
we went down to Shibuya station to take passport photos at a photo booth.
How rad is this tile!
and it was also raining that morning. Is there nothing you can not anthropomorphize?  Sad umbrella...
This was the passport photo booth.
This was the 1st photo I took. I was still reading the instructions when the flash went off. I had to take another one. I was also still super hung over.
Alex modeled for the poster advertising the photo booth.
I mean they smoke a lot in Japan, but WTF! This would possibly be the world's deadliest cigaret. You would prolly get a hernia just trying to hold it to your lips.
This what Japanese ovaries look like.
HA!!! No, just kidding! We ran into Melissa, Busy, and Minoru on the street and we went to take "picture team photos"(is that what they are called?)
We took 2 sets this sorta what the 1st one looked like.
this is a better picture of the pictures.
It is so crazy, you take photos and get to draw all over them.
this is at the drawing station on the next set.(Notice Melissa's  stigmata)
Why is this not a noise band or tape label name already?
wow...
the 2nd set sorta looked like this. I will try to hi res scan them because they are pretty funny.
This is a poster for the Japanese No Age. So fucked up!
This dog won the contest for the "best dog wearing a bow tie" national contest in Japan. Well deserved. (Also notice: Terminator: Salvation just goes as T4, I wonder if there is a japanese dub of Christian Bales rant?)
This is 4 floors of people eating lunch on top of eachother.
guitars fer dayz
then back on the plane to go home.
THIS is SERIOUSLY  a statue of a ZOMBIE you can buy in the sky mall magazine. If anyone buys this for us we will give you keys to our practice space and you can come hangout whenever.

The japanese photo booth pictures are called Purikura. The best part about using those things is you have no idea what you're doing or what the booth is trying to tell you to do! :D
