It took the autoglas shop 3 hours to get the replacement window. so we went to find food, but the only thing we could find was Burger King, so we sat and ate french fries. that took like 20 minutes off the waiting time.

I have so many photos from our tour with Los Camp, Times New Viking, and White Circle Crime Club. I will try to get as many up as I can over the next week. We start our last US tour of 2008 tomorrow with Soft Circle, Titus Adronicus, and Silk Flowers. I will post those photos where ever I can decent internet connection.

When we arrived in Lisbon, we were happy to see Luke and Sara from Lucky Dragon. We ate at this awesome Vegetarian buffet, soooooo good! 
Luke and Sergio, who runs this incredible gallery in Lisbon where we played. We had so much fun at this show.

Apparently these assholes didn't know Dean was in a tough guy band or they wouldn't have broken our window. Luckily there was nothing in the van, but it still sucks having glass fly at you when you are driving on the freeway.

Back in the US

Hey,
We are not back home in LA just yet, but we are one step closer. New York!!! It has been incredible talking to so many about the celebrations and over good vibes generated by the Election. The woman we rented the van from at the airport was so psyched on Obama. In general it feels like a different time. I know that Obama and the rest of America will face many challenges and that real economic and social change is far realization, but I can't help feeling that with this election America took a step in the right direction. Fuck Yeah! Here's to a belief that change is possible. Go us!!!

OBAMA!!!

We are in Holland today. We stood up late last night watching CNN world and heard the news. We are so psyched! It feels really strange to be out of the country while the results came in. You can really feel how much US politics affects the world and how important what happens in the US is. We wish we were home with our friends and family to celebrate the victory. We land in NY tomorrow and we will be psyched to be back in America.
