sweet guitars

The two guitars Ted Crocker built for Honeydripper. Photo by Ted Crocker.
I was just reading about these rad looking guitars that were made for the John Sayles movie Honeydripper. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the guitars caught my attention. They were designed to look like the body was made from a found piece of wood. You can read the article HERE.

Greg Norton, Mike Watt, and Grant Hart.
Also,  if you dig Mike Watt (and if you don't already you totally should) go to his HOOT PAGE and sign up for his email list because you will get rad emails with photos of the sunrise in Pedro when he is home
and other photos, like the one up above with Greg and Grant from Husker Du, from the road.

Dean with people

We played here last night, awesome DIY art space in Portland.
Dean and Carrie (Gun Outfit)
The Gun Outfit party mobile. Check out the red shag carpeting, they roll in style.
Dean eating his fingers.
Gun Outfit shredding, they played a bunch of new songs that were SICK!
The girls from Brilliant Colors  who killed it.
These dudes showed up outside in a ice cream truck and started blasting music out of it. It was an interactive party truck or something, everyone was pumped
This kid has four hands, CREEPY

Contemplation...
Met these kids in the parking lot in Portland where there are 6 food carts, all of them serving food (a lot of Vegan options as well) until 3am, will someone tell me again how Portland became Vegan bike punk Utopia?
GU!
Dean and a lumberjack throwing french Fries around.

Dean and Nate Groadie

I JUST RAN ACROSS THIS

why would they do this. What kind of money were these cats making that it made sense for them to do this?
