asked by FLAMING LIPS to go up there and make fools of ourselves.
Watching this i realized i won $10 off those Lotto tickets then lost them. FUCK!

Oh MOMA

While we were in NY we played in the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art. That statue behind Dean right there is a Rodin sculpture of Balzac
We set up next to it, but we were told we had to stay 6 feet away from it at all times

The reason we were asked to play at the MOMA was because Patrick O'Dell had put together a panel discussion about Skateboard Videos.  Here is Ed Templeton, Spike Jonze, Tobin Yelland, and Jake Phelps
This was presented in conjunction with the MOMA's Spike Jonze retrospective program.
It was one of the raddest screening events I had ever seen. Pat put together 3 video montages. Starting with video parts from classic 80's videos, then 90's, into the present.
It was so Fuckin' rad to see all these parts smashed together. Then after each montage Pat would have some of the skaters and videographers come up on stage and talk about the videos.

We are coming back to NY next week. I have been slow posting these photos because I have been one finger down this week.

This was an insane weekend and there is no way I could have taken enough pictures to capture all that went on.  In fact I was too busy being a nut to really take photos of the raddest parts. Sorry you only get the boring times I remembered to bring my camera from the room. The rest of the time I left it up there and was in the pit.
Luckily there were a million people with cameras and video there to preserve al the shenanigans. Thanks to everyone who made the drive up there and to the incredible people who put the whole thing together. Barry et all never cease to amaze!!!

FAHK!!!

So, this morning I was about to start chopping up some veggies when the knife slipped and caught me on the tip of my middle finger.
I didn't think it was that bad, but it was bleeding a lot. 
I went to the emergency room and got stitches. It is on my right hand so I can still hold a pick and play guitar. We are playing at the Eagle Rock Fest tonight. Hopefully everything goes alright.
I know my medical traumas are adding up, but this was a weird freak full moon foul kitchen fuck up. FER DAZE!!!

Saturday Night

Come hang with us for FREE on saturday night! We are playing at the Eagle Rock Music Festival, a quaint outdoor gathering of local commerce and music. It is literally on the corner of Colorado and Eagle Rock blvd. and beyond, take the streeeeeets! WE ARE GOING TO SHRED IT, also Pocahaunted and Bobb Bruno are playing too, so why be anywhere else? We play at 10pm. Special shout outs to Patricia Bragg and Dr. Bronner! whoooooooop!
