Oh MOMA
While we were in NY we played in the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art. That statue behind Dean right there is a Rodin sculpture of Balzac
We set up next to it, but we were told we had to stay 6 feet away from it at all times
Damn! that is some heavy art shit
The reason we were asked to play at the MOMA was because Patrick O'Dell had put together a panel discussion about Skateboard Videos. Here is Ed Templeton, Spike Jonze, Tobin Yelland, and Jake Phelps
This was presented in conjunction with the MOMA's Spike Jonze retrospective program.
It was one of the raddest screening events I had ever seen. Pat put together 3 video montages. Starting with video parts from classic 80's videos, then 90's, into the present.
It was so Fuckin' rad to see all these parts smashed together. Then after each montage Pat would have some of the skaters and videographers come up on stage and talk about the videos.

ATP
We are coming back to NY next week. I have been slow posting these photos because I have been one finger down this week.
Hangin' with our girl Mona at the fish.
I could not agree more
How did they get a photo of my underwear???
Then we went over to a swanky restaurant and who did we see? Horrowitz!
The people there were all super fashiony and were not ready for what was about to happen...
BARR was unleashed on the unsuspecting audience
He blew the place up
the place was so packed and there was no room to walk. but Brendan ran the length of the room
at one point lyrics were forgotten and Dean was asked to help recalling the verse
David was going off
BARR held the masses hands
The man is already the tallest person I know, but he took it to the next level by standing on chairs
Destroyed!!
The CREW
The next day we drove with pals up to Kutshers. Avi was there for moral support and drum tech skills
SUICIDE were fucking incredible
Homies chillaxing
What is rad about ATP is that the bands are all hangin out at the hotel for the weekend. so you are likely to run into them.
Dean rockin the nose gaurd
Rock and roll babe
Liz from Grouper was hangin out
She ran into us in the halls while we were talking with Ice Cream Man
BUZZZZZ
Hasham bone
How many drum heads have these men laid waste to?
getting wild
The Pros
Breakfast. The weather was beautiful
We saw Liz everywhere
Boredoms made me cry
Brad and Bob. Keep an eye out for there new sit com coming this fall on CBS
Ruling it from Down under
I didn't get the tongue memo
Leo getting milky
after our set Bob destroyed the dance floor. The place was on fire. Todd was cutting a rug
The ladies of ATP. Keep an eye out for their Pictorial Calendar at next years ATP
Mega Homies!
Then it was all over. the weekend really flew by
We said good by to ICM
I was Weekend at Bernies on the ride back to the city
the crew had put in their time
One last stop at Penny Lick with John before we were off to the airport
This was an insane weekend and there is no way I could have taken enough pictures to capture all that went on. In fact I was too busy being a nut to really take photos of the raddest parts. Sorry you only get the boring times I remembered to bring my camera from the room. The rest of the time I left it up there and was in the pit.
Luckily there were a million people with cameras and video there to preserve al the shenanigans. Thanks to everyone who made the drive up there and to the incredible people who put the whole thing together. Barry et all never cease to amaze!!!
